The Melbourne workforce has changed over the last three years, largely due to Covid, however, maybe change was needed. We still have a large number of candidates asking about flexibility when applying for new roles. This is indeed incredibly important to them and clients who have been able to adopt a flexible/hybrid work culture seem to find it easier to secure staff. This, we believe is more than just providing work-from-home arrangements – it says to new and existing staff, that they are trusted and their needs are listened to and met when they can be. So, in essence, it is the employer telling their workforce they are important and valued. So much more than just providing a day or two from home, this really dictates the culture of the office, and trust us, employees notice.
